Annual House Tour
South Vancouver Island
Sun. September 12th, 2010 11:00am - 4:30pm
Since the House Tour began in 1953, sell-out crowds have been inspired by distinctive homes and gardens each year. Setting this tour apart from others are the local artists on-site at each house producing an original artwork. Past artists have included Robert Amos, Ted Harrison, and Tony Hunt Jr., to name a few. As well, each home will feature flower arrangements by the Victoria Flower Arrangers Guild.
The House Tour is the single most important annual fundraiser produced by the Associates of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. The funds raised support the development of education and exhibition programming at the Gallery.
This year experience "A Day on the Peninsula" with a tour of 7 beautiful homes on the Saanich Peninsula. These homes were designed and built to take advantage of panoramic ocean and countryside views. This is island living at its most spectacular: modern homes in wonderful settings, created to suit their owners' life styles.

Please note that since most of these homes are set back from the road, the tour does involve some walking and stair climbing and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Children under 12 are not permitted on the Tour.
