Seedy Saturday is your one-stop shop for: seeds direct from the growers, nurseries with native and specialty plants and small fruits; local food and garden products and services; cooking demos; garden club and information displays about composting, habitat and native bees; Seed Exchange for your donated or trading seeds; activities for children; Seedy Cafe for light lunch or snacks; 13 speaker talks ranging from mushrooms to tomatoes to fruits to how we can establish food/agriculture systems and policy in our region (marauding deer anyone?). Keynote Gary Lewis of Phoenix Perennials speaks on "Hot New Plants". Topics and speaker info detailed on the website.
