Presented and operated by CircusWest, the Avatar Circus Project is a contemporary circus performance featuring Westcoast circus professionals who are mastering the arts of physical theatre, new media and comedy. This style of "new circus" eschews clichés. You won't see clowns in fright wigs or animals in cages. Instead, audiences are engaged with captivating stories and the spectacular artistry of performers at the peak of their abilities.

Many of the Avatar performers are graduates of Vancouver's legendary CirKids School of Circus Arts. The cast also includes westcoast and professional circus artists who bring their specialty expertise to each show. They are known for incredible focus and strength in their performances, and a profound commitment to excellence.
