The year is 1960 and the place, North-West London, England. Life could not be much better for the Jacksons and their teenage daughter, Julie, until Mr. Stewart arrives on their doorstep. Mr. Stewart is an agent of MI-5 (the British Secret Service) and he asks to use the Jacksons’ house as an observation post to try and foil a Soviet spy ring. The Jacksons are further tested when it is revealed that the suspected spies are their friends the Krogers and they are asked to set a trap. Should friends betray friends? This gripping drama tells the true story of a family faced with an impossible decision during the not so distant era of the cold war and the events of a few weeks in this quiet middle class street in Ruislip, London.
